Lessons are primarily online or in-person in the Annex, Toronto.
If lessons are held at your home, a travel fee will be calculated based on travel time at 50% of the hourly rate.
Private Lessons
Students will receive support in developing their craft. They will gain individualized training in vocal or acting technique, performance skills, and confidence onstage. Students are encouraged to bring in a song they would like to work on, but can also be assisted in finding a song if necessary. For acting coaching, material can be provided.
Performance or Audition Preparation
Students will be given advice and tools to succeed in their upcoming performance or audition. If necessary, assistance can be provided in finding an audition piece based on the requirements.
Note: 30 minutes is not a recommended option for this category, as roughly 15 minutes of each lesson is designated for warming up.
Group Acting Classes
If the weekly option is chosen, students will learn a new element of acting each week, such as Script Work, Physicality, Voice, Acting for Film, Devised Theatre, etc. Number of classes can be discussed prior to signing up.
If the one-time option is chosen, a particular topic can be chosen, such as the fundamentals of acting, musical theatre, improvisation, etc.

Personalized Vocal Feedback
Students can submit a recorded video singing a song for their choice. Upon submission, students will receive personalized advice on areas of improvement regarding their performance, such as tips for breath control, vowel modification, storytelling, etc. If students would like to follow up on the advice provided, they are more than welcome to book a lesson to gain further insights!
Written Feedback: $25 per video/song submission.
Video Feedback: $30 per video/song submission.
